Cats love it......if a cat has had surgery and is recovering I put them in a large kitty condo so that they remain safe. This is perfect for that purpose.
I ordered this cat scratching post two times and both shipments came in damaged. The sisal rope that is wrapped around the cardboard cylinder did not cover the entire post and was also loose. Did not reorder a third time but asked for a refund. I was very disappointed with this product.
I've bought this one as a replacement - it was easy to assemble and attach to the wall (also could be attached to the cage - there were parts for that in the box, but I did not need them). My cat immediately started scratching it. One more good thing - the package fits in an Amazon locker box.
