That's no moon....

I was disappointed. First, they're HUGE - they won't fit in most normal drinking glasses. Second, after several attempts using differing water levels, I was unable to create a crack-free frozen deathstar like in the product pictures. I laughed, I cried, I kissed $20 goodbye.

Cute but Not Too Comfortable

  • Review Add on: 10.03,2019

It is a very cute design, and it arrived looking brand new, soft, and just like the picture. I took this pillow with my on a 17 hour flight to Singapore, and it was not comfortable at all. Maybe it was because of the duration of the flight, but the pillow brought very minimal relief. I think the main reason is that the tapered tail cuts down on the element of all around comfort, as that was sacrificed for aesthetics. If you're doing minimal traveling, at around no more than 4 hours, then this pillow would probably be fine. But for anything more, you're probably gonna want to find a better shaped neck pillow.

Not the original, knock off

I have this one and one I ordered years ago. The new one is subpar and inferior to the one I bought originally. It is lumpy, sewn poorly, and the coloring is off. I would not buy again.

6yo bfly wings. Loves. flimsy, damage from metal wings, prob fire hazard. Prob a great rave prop

6yo loves. Wanted glory butterfly eagle wings. I understand this is likely a rave toy but for a child great gift too. Appears to be flimsy construction but it’s really beautiful when she’s flying around the house. Danger of metal wing bones breaking stuff, appears flimsy, likely extremely flammable so keep away from any flame or heat.

Good quality, both in comfort + cuteness

Haku arrived super quickly. I've also noticed the pink patches other reviewers have mentioned, but I don't think it's that big of a deal. Perfect dragon to cuddle up with on an airplane, put me right to sleep. Pics included for height/length reference.

Good cat scratcher for a cat cage

  • Review Add on: 04.09,2021

When my cat has a litter of kittens, I keep them in a large cage for the first month. This protects them from getting into mischief. It also keeps the mom-cat with them, instead of her wandering off. But, space is at a premium, so a cat scratching post that fits well in the cat cage is best. I previously used very small freestanding cat scratchers, but this one works better. It was easy to install.

Very relaxed form. Nose and tail too easily separated.

Absolutely adorable! I got this for my wife, and she absolutely loves it. My mother-in-law saw it, and wants one now. Sadly, it doesn't really want to hug your neck like I think a neck pillow should. Take this as you will, some people may prefer a loose fit, while others not so much. I tried it, and while it does give good support, I can't say I liked the fact that the head and tail are a little too eager to move away from each other. This is the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars, otherwise it deserves 5.

Does an adequate job

  • Review Add on: 07.26,2019

I'm making about 100 of these for an upcoming party. The product works fairly well, but there are a few things to understand.

1) You WILL NOT get a crystal clear sphere because when ice freezes air gets trapped in the center of the ice and occludes visibility. You can jump through a bunch of steps so you do get clear ice but they are actually reasonably difficult. Just using distilled water won't do the trick.

2) Some spheres will break along the diameter where the molds sit together. That is just the way it is because !SCIENCIE!. That happens fairly infrequently and is a pain, but not horrific.

3) Getting the spheres out of the mold can be a PITA.

4) The ice takes a long time to freeze because the silicon mold is actually insulating the water so it stays warmer longer. You can greatly reduce the time to freeze by putting a large glass of water in the fridge for a few hours beforehand and fill the molds with that water which shold be around 37 degrees F. I can get at MAX 3 rotations per day if I don't use the water trick, 4 if I use the trick.

5) Over time you the molds will gradually warp and you'll lose one or two to use. It sucks, but it's life.

In summary, it does the job moderately well. Worth the money, but it has drawbacks.
