Sturdy and functional

I rescue and foster kittens and cats. I have two feral moms in cages and wanted something to get them more active within their confinement. They are both using the scratching posts. ?

When I was first looking at this item, I noticed that some reviews mentioned that the pillow was misshapen, perhaps stitched incorrectly, so that it won't lay flat on your shoulders like it's supposed to. One person mentioned it curving so much that it poked them in the eye. Additional complaints also talked about how the pink blush around the mouth looked more like a mess of smeared lipstick. However, the overall rating for it was very high, so I gave it a shot.
The package arrived... and it was everything the negative reviews said it would be.
Thinking that I may have just gotten unlucky and received one of the rare, poorly-made ones, I ordered a replacement... and this one may actually be worse than the first one was. The tail curls sharply upward, resting above its head, and its "mouth" looks like Heath Ledger's Joker applied the pink color to it.
Like I said, I figured once could be a coincidence, but recieving the same product with the same defect twice in a row suggests something else.
It's really disappointing. The plush itself is adorable in the pictures shown for the product, but it does not live up to them at all. The quality of this item seems to have plummeted since its good reviews were written. I dunno if it's being manufactured by someone else, or what, but I'll be returning both for a refund.

Narrow 11lb dog get a small

Some reviews said this ran small so I got a medium but he ended up needing a small. The picture is a medium so I just tied in the back to make it tighter. He's an 11lb chihuahua/terrior mix. I'd say it's true to size.

Great for my foster kittens

I really like this product. It fit our needs very well. I foster kittens and have to have them under quarantine for a few weeks to begin with. So far I've had two groups that have used this. They scratch, hang from it, and use it to jump off of. I did spray a small amount of a quality catnip spray on it . The one thing I will say is that I'm glad that it has the knobs at the top and bottom of the scratcher. It didn't quite line up with our cage wires, so all I had to do was loosen the bottom knob a little bit, put the bottom bracket through the holes on the side of the cage, and then tighten it back up and it's perfect. Pictured is a 6 week old kitten for reference to size. And it is in a two story Midwest critter cage.

Almost perfect but not quite. Still cute!

This neck pillow showed up looking pretty much just like the picture, but it is slightly smaller than an average adult neck pillow. Would be great for a child! Mine is also a bit lop sided. I'll agree that the blush on the mouth does look like lipstick or a pink mustache, however, the material is very soft, and I saw no sign of loose seams or poor construction. Seems well made enough. It's not the exact item I hoped for, but for the price I assume it is probably a knockoff of an original design. It works ok as a neck pillow. I'd just prefer it to be a bit longer and perhaps a bit more stuffing to lend more support. I think it is worth the price for a cute novelty item that is still functional for it's purpose.

Soft and Cute

I bought this for my daughter because we travel for surfing a lot. It’s very soft and fits her head perfectly. The eye cover is a nice touch. It’s very cute. I expected something cheap looking for the price but it’s actually very plush and well put together. This has become her new travel buddy.

Horrible sewing job.

This product should have been quality checked, as the sewing was extremely poor quality, and came out janky. Its tail and feet are sticking up and out at an odd angle when it's supposed to be laying flat. The blush coloring is also a bit slap-dash on the feet.
I would suggest looking for a different selling company, as this studio Ghibli knock-off definitely isnt as nice as it is in their photo.

This was a gift and when I gave it to an excited 9 yr old, it didn’t work! There was no contact to make the batteries work. Very expensive piece of junk. Not to mention a sad and disappointing child and consumer. DO NOT PURCHASE CHINESE JUNK!
