I think this produce leaves slight film in my ice. They claim this product is that it is FDA approved but after adding ice made with the death star I noticed floaties in my drink and felt a film in my mouth. I do not recommend this for food use.
0 people found this helpfulNow I might be a tad lost on cleaning it... still researching it but it has the rubber smell. Sometimes it splits perfect to get that perfect sphere. I love this with my drinks. For what it's worth its definitely better then the rest!

0 people found this helpfulI'll experiment with water levels, but there are 2 problems with this mold. The bottom half is too thick and stiff, so it's hard to remove the ice ball. Also, a seam forms around the middle hemisphere where the mold halves join together. So it's not perfect, but I like the idea!
