A must-have addition to your alcohol collection!
Be sure to only fill it up a little more than halfway since water expands when frozen and it will spill out the top hole. Not really a big deal but something to consider.

So fun! My husband and I both love Star Wars and these are perfect for our drinks. We also love the fact it's a spherical ice cube so it melts much slower than a normal cube.

Purchased them in group of six due to lower cost per item. Gave one to my brother who is not a Star Wars fan, but enjoys a cold adult beverages. He was gifted an AncestryDNA kit and one of these molds. Received thankful text with pic of ice cube in cup of bourbon, but no mention of the main gift. (My brother did note that death star details melted away immediately with bourbon, but really enjoys having a ball of ice in his glass.)

and crack-free ice like what they show in the ad photos

Several of the silicone molds arrived with ragged seams that don't seem to seal very well. And I haven't figured out the secret to getting ice Death Stars that are clearly-defined, bubble-free, and crack-free ice like what they show in the ad photos. I suspect that they will work quite well with jello, chocolate, etc., but for ice I was disappointed.

A long lasting frozen Death Star, every time

The mold is well made, and hasn’t notably warped despite multiple uses of each one. Even when overfilled, the mood lets out extra ice easily so as to not damage itself—the excess ice can then be easily snapped off. Highly recommended if you want to easily make mildly to moderately detailed Death Star ice spheres consistently.

Great Ice

I love these ice molds. They're a little difficult to fill at first but these are my favorite ice cubes. We have a set of sphere ice molds from Sharper Image but in my opinion, these are easier to fill and release from the molds. Plus, it's nice to have the option of only using one cube without disrupting a second. We've given a few of these away as gifts and the recipients have also been very pleased. The Death Star markings are very faint so it does not add much additional surface area to the sphere (which would defeat the purpose of having a large spherical "cube" of ice).

Husband bought these to make truffles for a Star Wars party at work. I have discovered that they make the Perfect sized Ice Cube to make the Perfect Old Fashion. You also have to use the perfect sized glass intended for an Old Fashion. Seriously Perfect! Yum.

That's no moon....

I was disappointed. First, they're HUGE - they won't fit in most normal drinking glasses. Second, after several attempts using differing water levels, I was unable to create a crack-free frozen deathstar like in the product pictures. I laughed, I cried, I kissed $20 goodbye.
